U.N. Remembers Slave Trade
The United Nations ‘s Day of Remembrance for Victims of the Transatlantic Slave Trade
March 25th 2012 is the day designated by the United Nations for Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Radio interviews from Ghanaians, Jamaicans, and Brazilians will be broadcast by U.N. Radio.
These interviews can be accessed and downloaded by going to Transatlantic Slave Trade Remembrance
One can only speculate as to why the descendants of the Victims of the Transatlantic Slave Trade in North America were not interviewed. Could it be that the UN tore down the Human Rights components that would have assisted Afrodescendants to achieve our Human Rights and lead to our attaining Recognition and put Afrodescendants on the road to Reparations?
